How to take payments via Cash App

You can take payments via Cash App through Stripe. Cash App payments can only be offered by USA based businesses and charged in US dollars (USD, $).

Connect to Stripe first

Make sure you're connected to Stripe before you continue. See How to connect to Stripe.

Enable Cash App in Stripe

  1. Log in to your Stripe Dashboard.

  2. Select the Settings cog in the top right.

  3. Go to Payments, then Payment methods.

  4. If you see a list of accounts, select the three-dot menu and choose Manage Configuration.

  5. Find Cash App in the list - you may only see this option if your Stripe account is based in the United States.

  6. Select Cash App, then select Enable.

After you enable Cash App

Your customers will now see Cash App as a payment option at checkout, for orders charged in US dollars. If a customer pays using Cash App, you'll see it marked as a Cash App payment in your Stripe Dashboard.

  • USD - US Dollar only
