Zapier connects your account to thousands of other apps without any code. When something happens in your account, Zapier can pass it on to another app, such as adding a row to a spreadsheet or sending a message to your team.

Which plans include Zapier?

All of them. If you have API access, you also have access to Zapier, and API access is included on every plan, including Newbie. There is nothing separate to switch on or upgrade to.

What you need to connect

Zapier works through the API, so you will need an API key from your account.

  1. Open Settings and scroll to the bottom of the sidebar

  2. Click Developers under the Advanced heading, then API Keys

  3. Click Add API key and give it a name, such as Zapier

  4. Copy the key, which starts with sk_ followed by your own unique key

Treat the key like a password. Anyone who has it can read and change your data, so only paste it into Zapier and keep it out of emails and shared documents.

Give Zapier its own key rather than reusing one from another integration. You can then see in the API Keys list when it was last used, and if you ever need to stop it, you can block that key from the three dots menu, which also has Edit Name and Delete, without affecting anything else you have connected.

Choosing triggers and actions

When you add BoothBook to a Zap, Zapier lists the triggers and actions available. You will see the full list in the Zap editor when you choose BoothBook as the app.

The information available to Zapier comes from the same API described in the API article, covering leads, bookings, contacts, venues, tasks, contracts, projects, vehicles, transactions, users and teams.

If you need something Zapier does not cover

Anything available through the API can be reached by other tools too, so if Zapier does not offer the trigger or action you need, a tool that can send API requests directly may still do it.
