Every field on a form, whatever type it is, shares the same general settings. Click the gear icon next to any field to open them.
Style
Set the font size and apply bold, italic and text colour to the field label.
Fill colour applies to the whole field, not just the label.
Half Width
Shrinks the field so it sits side by side with another field instead of taking the full row. Useful for pairing shorter fields together, like a first and last name, rather than having each one stretch across the full width of the form.
Required
Marks the field as mandatory, so the form won’t submit until it’s filled in.
Hide Field
Hide Field removes a field from what the customer sees without removing it from the form. Combine it with a default value and the field submits that value automatically on every entry, without a customer ever seeing it or needing to fill it in.
This is useful anywhere you want a fixed or pre-set value captured against every submission, a source field, a brand identifier, anything you want recorded consistently without asking the customer to supply it.
Options
Settings takes you into whatever configuration is specific to that field type, the options covered for an event date field, for example, are different to the options on a text field or a dropdown.
Conditionals let you show or hide the field based on rules elsewhere on the form, so a field only appears when it’s actually relevant to what the customer has already answered.
Delete removes the field from the form completely.
