Proposals, proposal templates and custom code are included on every BoothBook plan. What each person on your team can do with them depends on their permissions.
Plans
You don’t need to upgrade to use proposals. Every plan includes:
creating and sending proposals
proposal templates, including the template library
blocks
the full proposal builder, including Global Styling, Custom Code and Version Control
Generate with AI, which is free and doesn’t use credits
Team permissions
Permissions for proposals are set in user and team settings. You can choose whether someone can:
view proposals
edit proposals
delete proposals
A typical setup:
Owners and managers: view, edit and delete.
Sales staff: view and edit, so they can create and send proposals for their leads but can’t delete anything.
Event staff: view only, or no access, depending on whether they need to see what was sold.
Changing someone’s permissions
Go to your user and team settings.
Open the user or team you want to change.
Find the proposal permissions.
Switch on the permissions they need.
Save.
If several people share the same role, set the permissions on a team rather than on each person. New starters then get the right access when you add them to the team.
Seeing who worked on a proposal
Open the proposal and go to Activity. It shows which team members have worked on it, along with when the customer opened and accepted it.
If someone makes a change by mistake, use Version Control to go back to an earlier version.
Common questions
Someone on my team can see proposals but can’t edit them. They have view permission only. Add edit permission in user and team settings.
Can I stop someone deleting proposals? Yes. Leave the delete permission switched off for them.
